Don't Drink This Coffee!
Salam Everyone,
It was a Friday like any other, the office is winding down, work load is relatively low, and I just started checking my Facebook Profile.
I admit it was a bad habit of mine to reply some messages on FB Messenger quite late. Call it tardy or carelesssness ;( ;( ;( . Nevertheless, earlier in the week I had come across a facebook page which features organic home made coffee farmed, blended, prepared and transported by the business owner, MG Gomez or also known in the industry as Gee. I rate myself as a coffee connosieur (despite my limited coffee knowledge) but I thought, well it wouldn't kill me to give this a go.
Within minutes, the transaction between Gee and myself was done, and he even added value by
1. Delivering it personally
2. Giving me a sample
Meeting Gee, I enjoyed our conversation. It felt like two friends who are reconnected despite millions of years being apart (Mind you this is the first time I'm meeting this guy!). I was quite fortunate to be able to tap on his insights of the coffee industry that he will have a major part of in the future. It feels good inside to be in support of the local growers, so that the industry can grow.

Well Gee, guess what I did? It just so happens that my office has a coffee machine (Jura S9 Espresso Machine) and guess what? I have never tasted coffee like I have by drinking the one made by the koppi.
As many of you know, drinking coffee without sugar and many healthy benefits to our bodies. However, do you also know that the commercialised coffee makers have put in additives that reduces the purity of the coffee. The fat from the coffee beans are not verified at source and could be a dispute for muslims.
This is not the case for the Koppi! It's taste is extremely authentic, and despite the understated aroma, makes for an excellent black coffee that also doesn't give you an extra jolt of caffeine.
Just to prove a point, my father who is only drinks coffee with sugar, drank it black and asked for seconds and thirds! And my mom don't even drink coffee and she asked for samples! Amazing. My parents were astounded.
Some honest bullet points though, the smell may not be as strong as your arabica coffee beans and the taste is relatively strong, but if you are a true fan, you will be able to appreciate the sophistication of prepping the coffee to the consumers hands.
I highly recommend it. You can go to his facebook page and message him directly.
Thanks MG Gomez, you will always have my business, from one coffee lover to another.
You can check out his facebook at MG Gomez's Facebook or The Koppi
Yours Always,
Arif Fauzi
