AL-MADINA MART - For All your Halalan Thoyyiban Needs!

Salam Everyone,

Have you ever had doubts about going to a regular supermarket, where you go to buy your weekly groceries? Yes, you, the submitting Muslim, goes there to get ingredients that are Halal to your knowledge.

BUT WAIT!

Do you know that 90 % of the Halal product applications are done by Non - Muslim Corporations?

If you notice that disparity, there is 2 key issues at hand here
1. The Local Muslims are not producing enough products for the consumptions of fellow muslims
2. The Non - Muslims are dealing with the gap in the market that the Muslims failed to exploit.

Here at Value Entrepreneurs, we are not in the business of placing blame, but rather, we want to be in support of any Halal Mart Establishments that essentially does three things for us
1. The products are sourced locally by Muslims and Halal in preparation
2. The products are fresh and supportive of small and medium enterprises
3. The mart which only sells products deemed acceptable to Muslims.

In comes AL-MADINA, where the best halal products come in a single roof!

AL-MADINA, located in Taman Sri Serdang, near Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) (Location Click Here) aims to serve the local market, which has a vibrant community of Malay Muslims, Foreign Students, and Lecturers.

AL-MADINA opens every from Monday to Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

They aim to assure their customers, that the products supplied by them will always be halal in three aspects
1. Preparation
2. Never contains any Haram Products
3. Safe for Consumption

In this mart, you will find your regular daily needs such as rice, poultry, chicken, spices, eggs, etc. Really! Everything you will ever need!

As Muslims, I think it is important that we are in support of establishments like this, as it satisfies the Fardhu Kifayah elements of our society, which essentially requires us to have doctors, engineers, and architects who are muslims. And since food is such a basic need, we have to be in support of it!

They have been open for nearly a month and are also looking for suppliers. For those who are interested, you can contact Sharif Hashim (Click Here) for his email address. He is enthusiastic to those who want to work together to make AL-MADINA the essential halal mart!

Yours Always,

Arif Fauzi
